At Our Lady of Lourdes Massapequa Park, the progressives are still attacking the parish. Why? Are the parishioners deaf, dumb, and Blind? Do they not realize what this progressive action is doing to a once viable friendly accommodating parish, who welcomed all loving catholics?
I am still bewildered as to the reason why Msgr Lisante found the need to cancel Anne Murphy's
Pro-Life vigil and Mass. The Msgr's action in light of the fact that he claims to be solidly Pro-Life, is an egregious act against Pro-life movement. In addition to this move, he also cancelled the Fatima Holy Hour. Why would any Catholic priest, non less a Msgr do such a thing?
Is not our Church still OUR LADY OF LOURDES?The only reason that I could come up with, is that Msgr doesn't want a strong defender of our Lady, and the Pope, FR Paul Driscol, celebrating mass and preaching at Our Lady of Lourdes. How strongly are the words of warning given by Our Lady of Akita, "The work of the Devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see Cardinals opposing Cardinals, Bishops against Bishops. The Priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres....Churches, and altars sacked. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the Demon will press many Priests and consecrated souls to leave the services of the Lord".It is no wonder that St. Athanasius is quoted as saying: " The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops”.
And I may add, that the walls are paved with the skulls of errant Priests.
God have mercy on you and the Bishop for allowing this to happen, and for the poor sheep that unknowingly follow your progressive, un-catholic actions.
