From the American Fureress!

(Ya Mein Fureress! Und sie davon abhalten, sprechen auf allen. Heil Pelosi!)

Pelosi calls for investigating those in "opposition to the mosque" at Ground Zero
August 18th, 2010 7:08 pm ETIn an op/ed piece by Penny Young Nance of, she reports that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling for an investigation into those who oppose a mosque to be built at Ground Zero.

As Nance puts it, "For Ms. Pelosi it seems there is nothing the government shouldn't investigate, control or inject itself into as long as it serves the interests of liberal elites."

Never mind that the overwhelming majority of 9/11 victim families opposes building the mosque so close to such hallowed ground. Ms. Pelosi evidently believes these families have formed some kind of vast right wing conspiracy to inflict sensitivity upon those who would kow-tow to a controversial Muslim cleric.

"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some," Ms. Pelosi said in comments captured by Kerry Picket of the Washington Times' Water Cooler blog. "And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque is being funded."

Nobody is "funding" Bonnie McEneaney's opposition. Her husband Eamon worked for the firm Cantor Fitzgerald, the name that brings back haunting memories of people plunging to their deaths from the inferno that was the World Trade Center on September 11. That firm was on the 105th floor of a building that once dominated the New York skyline.

Mrs. McEneaney told New York Daily News columnist Mike Lupica: "Nobody disputes the principle of freedom of religion. Of course Muslims should have the same spiritual rights the rest of us have. The question isn't about that. The question is about sensitivity. To me, this is solely about sensitivity, the feelings of the friends and relatives who lost loved ones on 9/11."

Nancy Pelosi is second in line to the Presidency, thanks to all the Democrat Congressmen who continually vote for her to be the Speaker of the House, such allegedly conservative "Blue Dog" Democrats like NC-7's Mike McIntyre

Catholic Relief Services forgot about Nashville, Kentucky, & Mississippi

Hey Bishops, and Obama, how about "health-care for Americans??" The hurt in Nashville is still here.
What happened to "Charity begins at home?????"
Speak up Nashville, and call the Catholic Relief Services(CRS), and ask if they have forgotten about the victims in America?..."What Losers"

In a posting on the official website of the Diocese of Raleigh, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is requesting donations to assist victims of the recent floods in Pakistan.

CRS failed to raise funds for the victims by the recent floods that struck Tennessee, Mississippi and Kentucky.

31 people died in the affected states, and the damage to private property alone in Nashville is expected to top $2 billion.

Where are the Biships on this story, why aren't they present here?

Dear Friday Fax Reader,

I wrote to you last week to announce a new and frightening attack on our children coming from UN radicals. Well, it is beginning in earnest today.

Last week the UN announced the International Year of Youth. The first major skirmish in this year long fight to defend the innocence of our children starts today in Leon, Mexico where there are not one, but three conferences going on at the same time.

One conference is for youth, mostly radical youth. Another conference is for Parliamentarians. The one that is far more dangerous is the one of UN delegations that will negotiate a document written by the radical sexual left and that seeks to undermine the morals of young people all over the world and to separate them from their primary protectors, their parents!

C-FAM’s Friday Fax personnel are on the ground in Leon as we speak. They are accredited to the governmental negotiations. They are also in close touch with colleagues who are covering the two other conferences.

The United Nations – especially the notorious United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) – is preparing a massive worldwide campaign to indoctrinate young girls in favor of abortion and an anti-Catholic agenda.

This campaign is being pushed by abortion groups, radical feminists and anti-family secularists in the name of “empowering youth.”

As you know, the Friday Fax was founded and exists to fight UN threats to life and family. We exist to act as an “early warning system” for Christians worldwide. It’s our job to sound the alarm about the many threats coming from the UN and other international organizations.

Threats to life. Threats to family. Threats to our moral values and the freedom to practice our Faith as Christians around the world. In 13 years of UN-watching, I can’t think of a single threat more serious than this scheme of indoctrinating and programming the world’s youth to reject Christianity, parental authority, and the sanctity and dignity of life. But that’s exactly what’s happening. Which is why I need your help and the help of every single C-FAM supporter if we are to prevail against this latest threat to life and families around the world.

This Mexican conference has the backing of the UN and the support of several powerful UN agencies, including:

• The UN Population Fund (UNFPA)
• The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF)
• The UN Development Program (UNDP)
• The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

As you know, all these UN agencies have been part of the UN anti-life agenda. But none is more militantly pro-abortion, more dangerous to unborn babies around the world than the UNFPA.

The Friday Fax has learned that UNFPA is even paying for the flights of “select participants” to the youth conference in Mexico.

What’s more, we’ve come into possession of a secretly produced document that governments will be expected to endorse at this gathering.

This document strikes right at the heart of the parent-child bond. It demands radical and complete autonomy for young people, separate from their parents. The document doesn’t even use the hated word “parent.” UN member countries, including the Holy See, will be expected to endorse this grotesque anti-family manifesto.

In short, this coming year long effort to undermine the morality of our young people is the biggest threat we have uncovered in the thirteen years we have been defending life, faith and family at the UN.

This will be the biggest, most dangerous UN conference since the Cairo Conference on Population in 1994 and the Beijing Women’s Conference in 1995. The UN wants the world to see this new conference as truly representative of the world’s youth. The problem we face right now is that this brand new global threat was sprung on the UN community without warning only a few weeks ago. They kept this thing very much under wraps. They like their secrets.

As a christian, you owe it to your children to protect them, from an action taken throughout the world, to take away your authority, given by GOD, to determine how your children are raised. The socialists are using the U.N. inorder to take away the family unit, the same way that Hitler, and Stalin did. If you believe in Almighty GOD, it is up to you to ask your Church, why they are not aiding in this fight to
stop the authority of Christians, to raise their children according to our religious beliefs.

How far from reality has Dowd gone?

John Quincy Adams versus Maureen Dowd
By Alan Caruba Sunday, August 22, 2010
As this is being written, two rallies are being held in the pouring rain in New York, just outside the proposed site of the Ground Zero mosque. One represents people opposed to it and one with people who see no problem whatever in an Islamic house of worship a few steps from where Muslims, in the name of Islam, destroyed the Twin Towers and killed some 3,000 people.

That pretty much tells you how a particular mindset can either resist evil or fall victim to it. Some might say that “evil” is too strong a word with which to describe Islam, but let me take you back to 1830 and quote John Quincy Adams, the sixth president of the United States.

Referring to Muhammad, he wrote: “Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent god; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle.

Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion.

He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. The essence of his doctrine was violence and lust; to exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature.

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. The war is yet flagrant…While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon the earth, and good will towards men.”

Liberals can never see evil no matter how it manifests itself or how many times it does so. They are drawn to it and the men who personify it.

Here is Maureen Dowd writing in The New York Times on Sunday:

“The dispute over the Islamic center has tripped some deep national lunacy. The unbottled anger and suspicion concerning ground zero show that many Americans haven’t flushed the trauma of 9/11 out of their systems—making them easy prey for fearmongers.”

According to Dowd, Americans are foolish, even stupid, to remain angry about 9/11.

As far as Dowd is concerned, “Obama is the head of the dysfunctional family of America—-a rational man running a most irrational nation, a high-minded man in a low-minded age.”

How far from reality has Dowd wandered? The nation is irrational? Obama is high-minded? Being angry regarding the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor is wrong? And surely the fearmongers she has in mind include Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin.

In psychology, the term “projection” is used to describe imputing one’s own emotions to others. “The country is having some weird mass nervous breakdown, with the right spreading fear and disinformation that is amplified by the poisonous echo chamber that is the modern media environment.”

The echo chamber to which she refers has been and is the liberal news media that sold us on Barack Obama, equating him with Lincoln and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Engaging in what media pundit, Bernie Goldberg, called a “slobbering love affair.” Dowd is looking in the mirror.

This isn’t punditry or even rational analysis of the current political scene. This is ill-concealed contempt for the vast majority of Americans who either were already conservative or who have been moving into the ranks of conservatives as they witnessed the abomination of Obamacare, the massive bailouts of unions and banks while ordinary Americans saw their jobs disappear and homes foreclosed.

They are the Americans who voted Republicans into the governorships of Virginia and New Jersey, and replaced Teddy Kennedy, the ultimate liberal, with a Republican Senator. They are the Americans who compose the Tea Party movement.

Within the liberal enclave of Manhattan’s Upper West Side, there is bewilderment that Americans would object to a mosque near Ground Zero.

The nation is not having a nervous breakdown. It is Maureen Dowd and all the fellow travelers who cannot believe that Americans will not roll over for Obama’s socialist agenda, who are angry at a profligate Congress that has amassed more debt in a year and a half than the days when the U.S. spent its treasure to win World War Two.

In 1830 John Quincy Adams understood exactly the threat Islam posed to the modern world. In 2010, Maureen Dowd and the readers of The New York Times remain utterly clueless.

American missionaries gunned down for 'preaching Christianity'
Kathy Gannon - Associated Press Writer - 8/7/2010 6:20:00 AM
KABUL, Afghanistan - Taliban terrorists have declared they shot and killed a team of missionaries, including six Americans, because they were 'preaching Christianity.'

Ten members of medical team, including six Americans, were shot and killed by the Islamic terrorists as they were returning from providing eye treatment and other health care in remote villages of northern Afghanistan, a spokesman for the team said Saturday.

Dirk Frans, director of the International Assistance Mission, said one German, one Briton and two Afghans also were a part of the team that made the two-week trip to Nuristan province. They drove to the province, left their vehicles and hiked for hours over mountainous terrain to reach the Parun valley in the province's northwest.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid told The Associated Press in Pakistan that they killed the foreigners because they were "spying for the Americans" and "preaching Christianity."

Frans said the International Assistance Mission is registered as a nonprofit Christian organization but it does not proselytize.

"This tragedy negatively impacts our ability to continue serving the Afghan people as IAM has been doing since 1966," according to a statement released by the charity. "We hope it will not stop our work that benefits over a quarter of a million Afghans each year."

The team, made up of doctors, nurses and logistics personnel, was attacked as it was returning to Kabul following a two-week mission in Nuristan, Frans said. They had decided to travel through Badakhshan province to return to the capital because they thought that would be the safest route, Frans said.

Among the dead was team leader Tom Little, an optometrist from Delmar, New York who has been working in Afghanistan for more than 30 years, Frans said.

Little was expelled by the Taliban government in August 2001 after the arrest of eight Christian aid workers _ two Americans and six Germans _ for allegedly trying to convert Afghans to Christianity. He returned to Afghanistan after the Taliban government was toppled in November 2001 by U.S.-backed forces.

Frans said he lost contact with Little on Wednesday. On Friday, a third Afghan member of the team, who survived the attack, called to report the killings. A fourth Afghan member of the team was not killed because he took a different route home because he had family in Jalalabad, Frans said.

According to Frans, two members of team worked for International Assistance Mission, two were former IAM workers and four others were affiliated with other organizations, which he did not disclose.

He said five of the Americans were men and one was a woman. The Briton and German also were women.

Gen. Agha Noor Kemtuz, police chief in Badakhshan province, said the victims, who had been shot, were found Friday next to three bullet-riddled four-wheel drive vehicles in Kuran Wa Munjan district.

He said villagers had warned the team that the area was dangerous, but the foreigners said they were doctors and weren't afraid. He said local police said about 10 gunmen robbed them and killed them one by one.

He said the two Afghans were interpreters were from Bamiyan and Panjshir provinces. A third Afghan man, who had been traveling with the group, survived.

"He told me he was shouting and reciting the holy Quran and saying 'I am Muslim. Don't kill me,'"

(They use our freedom in the U.S. to further their own agenda, which is the destruction of anyone that does not believe as they do. Where is the outrage from their leaders in the U.S.? And yet we are allowing them to build a mosque right on the spot where over 3000 innocent people were murdered. We are being manipulated and used like fools, and there are those in this country who still say "be nice to them"
yes, so they can murder 300,000 more in our own country. We are fighting a war on two fronts, those that we know want to murder us, and the Liberals, who will allow, and enhance this agenda.) WAKE UP AMERICA, AND GET RID OF THE PROGRESSIVES,AND THE LIBERALS NOW!)

What stimulus?
Thomas J. Whalen
Professor of Social Science, Boston University :

What this means for Democratic candidates this fall is that they won't be inviting President Obama to their home districts to campaign for them. He is the political equivalent to box office poison, thanks to the underwhelming performance of the economy and the perceived failure of the stimulus program to create more jobs.

Thomas J. Donohue
President and CEO, U.S. Chamber of Commerce :

Our chief economist, Dr. Martin Regalia, summed it up pretty well this morning:

“While the private sector continued to add jobs at a paltry rate in July, the numbers were clearly insufficient to drive the unemployment rate down or to re-employ those workers displaced during the recent downturn. With only 71,000 net new private sector jobs created in July and downward revisions to the last two months, the economy is creating only 90,000 jobs per month this year. This number doesn’t even cover the new entrants into the workforce. The unemployment rate held constant at 9.5%.”

“Policies that have increased taxes, increased regulation, and increased uncertainty have clearly not been a prescription for returning America to work.”

Rep. Michele Bachmann
Congresswoman (R-Minn.) :

A day after congressional Democrats passed the $787 billion stimulus last year, President Obama made a hallow promise:

“Congress has passed my economic recovery plan – an ambitious plan at a time we badly need it. It will save or create more than 3.5 million jobs over the next two years, ignite spending by business and consumers alike, and lay a new foundation for our lasting economic growth and prosperity.”

Here we are, a year and a half later, and the unemployment rate sits at 9.5 percent, as released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics today. Where is the ignition of spending or economic growth promised by President Obama?

David Mark
Moderator :

About a year and a half after the enactment of President Barack Obama's economic stimulus package, the nation's jobs situation is not showing many signs of improvement. The Labor Department announced today that the July unemployment rate remained stuck at 9.5 percent and the economy created a modest 71,000 private sector jobs.

What happened to all the jobs the president and congressional Democrats promised? And how damaging to the Obama administration are the departures of two of its top economic officials - Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag a week ago, and Council of Economic Advisers Chairwoman Christina Romer on Sept. 3?

Karen Kerrigan
President, Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council :

The stimulus is working so well that President Obama and those who voted for it have stopped calling it a stimulus. Maybe they'll start listening to those who actually create jobs. It's not too late to start adopting pro-growth policies, but much too late to make a difference for Democrats in November. The "stimulus" did not even stave off jobs cuts, as noted by SBE Council Chief Economist Raymond Keating in his statement regarding today's numbers:

"While the loss of 131,000 jobs in July according to the payroll survey obviously is worrisome, the data from the household survey is even more troubling. The size of the labor force has fallen for three straight months - down by 181,000 in July and by 1.2 million since April. Meanwhile, employment declined by 159,000 in July, and is down by 495,000 since April. Given that the bulk of new jobs come from smaller firms, these numbers indicate a continued dearth of entrepreneurship and small business growth.

(Some stimulus! The tidal-wave of change, the real change from Socialistic plans, to American plans and the salvation of our country is coming in November!Obama is so bad that the Democrats do not want him to campaign for them. Read it and cringe you Liberals. For your info I AM A REGISTERED DEMOC-RAT, WHO LOVES DEMOCRACY,& HATES SOCIALISM!)

Obama, President without a Country!

The President Without A Country
By Pat Boone

"We're no longer a Christian nation." - President barack obama, June 2009

" America has been arrogant." - President barack obama

"After 9/11, America didn't always live up to her ideals."- President barack obama

"You might say that America is a Muslim nation."- President barack obama, Egypt 2009

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.

In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!"

The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed."

And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he fore swore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.

But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?"

You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president.

You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": " Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"?

In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."

Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson's intent with that statement?

Or, wait a minute... were your ideas about America's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that "America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that "America has been arrogant"?

Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"?

Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?

Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.

Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran? Even in Egypt? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?

It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected... If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.

Could it be you are a president without a country?
